Hydrangea Floral Stud Earrings | Botanical Flower Impression | Handmade Sterling Silver Post Earrings
Delicate hydrangea blossoms are captured in metal, preserving the gentle texture and fleeting beauty of the flower long after the season fades. Each pair of these handmade sterling silver stud earrings is formed using impressions taken from real hydrangea blooms, allowing every vein and petal to leave its subtle mark.
Small and lightweight, these botanical earrings are designed for everyday wear — easy, understated, and full of quiet detail. A soft floral presence that feels timeless rather than trendy, they offer a simple way to carry a piece of the garden with you.
Their delicate simplicity also makes them perfect bridal earrings or bridesmaid jewelry gifts — understated enough to complement any wedding day look while still feeling special and handcrafted.
Perfect worn alone or layered with other favorites, these artisan silver earrings are a thoughtful balance of nature, craftsmanship, and enduring design.
Available in two variations:
- All sterling silver — classic, bright and timeless
- Jeweler's brass bloom with sterling silver ball center — warm golden tone with beautiful two-metal contrast
Both styles come with sterling silver ear posts and earring nut, crafted by Athena in Vermont.
Sterling silver, Gold, and Jeweler's Brass
Brass Pieces will develop a deep gold patina over time. Sterling silver will develop a black patina. To remove this you can use a jewelry polishing cloth like Sunshine Polishing cloths.
Gold pieces may be cleaned with a soft cotton cloth only - we do not recommend cleaning with commercial cleaners.
Storage
Keeping your jewelry away from moisture and storing it in a cool dry place will slow the tarnishing process. Your jewelry came with a 1' anti- tarnish tab. You can use this in your jewelry box to help absorb moisture.
Gemstones
The use of commercial products is not recommended for cleaning any of the gemstones in the Athena Bandit jewelry collection. You may clean stones using a soft cloth and mild, lukewarm soapy water. Some stones, such as Coral, Spiny Oyster Shell, Opals, Jade, Turquoise, and Pearls are delicate and should be cleaned using a soft cloth only. Using any products on these stones may harm them.
The Meaning Behind Hydrangea
"Plucked in winter, when the world has gone quiet and color has faded — the hydrangea bloom holds fast. Pressed in silver, its resilience becomes permanent."
The Anatomy of a Hydrangea
Thydrangea speaks of heartfelt gratitude and lasting connection — a bloom that holds its color and shape long after cutting, a fitting symbol of love that endures.
Every intricate vein is captured in metal. Preserving the flower forever.
