Laguna Lace Agate Necklace | Faceted Brass Beads | One of a Kind Gemstone Pendant | Handmade Sterling Silver
Fine lines, drawn like lace by the earth.
Laguna lace agate is known for its delicate banding, and this stone shows it beautifully: fine, flowing lines that ripple through the stone like lace. Look closely and the pattern keeps unfolding, with a little more to notice each time.
I chose this stone for its pattern, then set it by hand in a sterling silver bezel. Two faceted brass beads, one on each side, join the chain to the bezel. They catch the light and add a warm glint of metal next to the stone. Nothing is cast and nothing is premade. Because every agate forms its own pattern, this necklace is truly one of a kind. The stone in the photos is the one you will receive, and once it is gone, there is no other like it.
It dresses up a simple sweater or a plain white tee, and it looks lovely with winter neutrals. It also makes a gift that feels personal, for someone who loves natural stone and one-of-a-kind jewelry.
The Process
Each piece begins as raw metal — silver, brass, gold — shaped slowly by hand, sawn into delicate botanical lines that echo late summer's last bloom and autumn's first crisp edge. Real leaves, ferns, and hydrangeas are pressed directly into the metal, leaving behind the exact impression of something that once grew wild. Gemstones catch the same seasonal hues — floral pinks, mossy greens, the deep amber of turning leaves — set one at a time, each piece entirely its own. Made to be worn close, lived in, and carried through every season that shaped it.
